Suman C. Tharan has always been interested in performing arts from a very young age. Born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on October 3rd, 1967, his first appearance on television was in Singapore when he was 10. He went on to do a couple of stage roles, The Artful Dodger in Lionel Bart's "Oliver" (1984) and Malcolm in Tom Stoppard's "Cahoot's Macbeth" (1985). Suman also was commissioned by Education Radio Malaysia to do a series of programs in 1987. Upon returning from England after studying Law and working extensively, front of house in London's West End on Les Misérables, Aspects of Love, and Cats, he moved to the bustling Bangkok.
