Wolfgang (real name Barry Young) is a Scottish professional wrestler currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), performing on their NXT UK brand. He was born on August 22, 1986 in Glasgow, Scotland. Before becoming a wrestler, Young worked as a roofer and played rugby. He began his wrestling career in 2003, training under Scottish wrestler Mikey Whiplash. Young competed on the Scottish independent wrestling circuit under the ring name Seb Strife, before adopting the ring name Wolfgang in 2012. Wolfgang gained national recognition when he appeared on the first season of the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament in 2017.
