Sarah Geronimo (born July 25, 1988) is a Filipino recording artist and actress. Born and raised in Santa Cruz, Manila, she rose to fame after winning the Star for a Night singing competition in 2003. At the age of 6, she had the privilege of singing for Pope John Paul II on his visit in the country. Her debut album, Popstar: A Dream Come True, reached quintuple platinum status and made her, at age 16, the youngest multi-platinum recording artist.
