Ryan McLane was born in Indiana, USA. Ryan was first offered several opportunities to play college basketball including an offer from Butler University in Indianapolis. He declined the Butler offer, and after taking a family trip to Los Angeles, he decided he would stay permanently in California where he briefly played basketball in LA but soon quit. His debut in the adult film business began in 2009 around the age of 27. He is one of the few men in the business who has what he describes as an "all natural" look, including not having any tattoos or using any drugs or synthetics to help maintain his physical conditioning. He states he works out 24/7 and is eating more than he previously did, so as to maintain necessary calorie intake levels for his workouts. He is noted for his immense abdominal muscle definition.
