Mark Blankfield was an American actor and comedian. Born on May 8, 1950, in Pasadena, Texas, he began his acting career in the early 1980s, appearing in a number of television shows, including Taxi, Night Court, and The Nutt House. He was an ensemble player on the sketch comedy show Fridays and had a recurring role on the soap opera Days of Our Lives. He later appeared in Sledge Hammer!, Arrested Development, The Mindy Project and the HBO Max series Made for Love. Blankfield's first major film role was in The Incredible Shrinking Woman (1981). He then went on to appear in a number of other films, including Jekyll and Hyde... Together Again (1982), The Jerk, Too (1984) and The Secret of My Success (1987).
