Born in Toronto, Jim Codrington began his acting career at the age of 13 in a Black Theatre Canada production of The Malfini. He went on to get a Bachelor’s degree from Ryerson’s Radio and Television Arts program after receiving vocal, instrumental and theoretical training at St. Michael’s Choir School. His first major foray into television was as co-host of the multiple-award-winning Canadian children’s series The Polka Dot Door. He is probably best known for his role as Acting Inspector Darnell Williams in the television drama series The Border from 2008 to 2010.
